No pressure

trace2 · 07/10/2008 19:24

SaintRiven · 07/10/2008 19:27

is she still eating orally? Is it normal for the wound to weep?

dustystar · 07/10/2008 19:28

Glad she's home

trace2 · 07/10/2008 19:33

no shewont take anything its like we said her tummy needs to stetch! and our nurse came today she says its normal for a bit to weep but its running her vest and pjs are wet through, hers is held in with a ballon am scared the ballon as burt and we not got a spare so if it drops out we not been lernt yet how to fill up or change untill friday as so scared we made wrong decision

OP posts:
SaintRiven · 07/10/2008 19:37

we were told if it falls out you got an hour to get to the hozzie or the hole starts to close up.

trace2 · 07/10/2008 19:39

yes we been told same but its not out yet and am scared it may fall out in nigt

OP posts:
SaintRiven · 07/10/2008 19:41

have you wiggled it to see if its still firmly in there. I imagine if the balloon has burst the tube would actually fall right out.
I'm petrified of all this and frightenned dd will forget how to eat by mouth.

trace2 · 07/10/2008 19:57

trace2 · 08/10/2008 18:33

well been back in hospital we thought it was the ballon but that would have been to easy for us the hole is got to big so every thing we put in is seeping out, so now we have to knock the feeds right down over night to let the hole try and heal and hope itdont get septic or her acid come out over night if it does we need to go striaght in what a start iv just had enough of my baby beeing ill i just want it out
