Fucking hell. That is appalling. But, as Fio says, not entirely a surprise. Councils are pulling back from providing any services at all - you have to be very severely disabled before you get any support as far as I can see. And people with learning disabilities always seem to be at the bottom of anyone's priority list.

And the government's busy telling council bosses to spend their time thinking about building communities or something or other. So they aren't actually supposed to care about the day job.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Only 1 adult in every 20 on the autistic spectrum gets the right support. The rest of us are left to fend for ourselves.
