ds1 was awake from 1am - 5am last night

Anyone else's child loony with the full moon? Ds1 was bouncing off the walls. Refusing to get into bed (I think because I'd changed the duvet cover- although not to a new one so don't know why he suddenly found it offensive). happpened to be seeing the paed this morning and have come away with a prescription for melatonin.

And of course just as ds1 went back to sleep ds3 woke up. I look great on 1 and a half hours sleep. (not)

Ds2 has been extra-hyper over the last couple of days. He's also just started to jump and flap at the same time. Ds1 is very twitchy and hyper too. He's been off school for the last couple of days (conjunctivitis) so I wasn't sure if it was the lack of his sensory integration programme having an effect. I didn't realise it was full moon time again.

Hope your ds1 sleeps better tonight.

Yes indeedy, my dd was up from 4 until 6!
Totally wired. Thought it may be earache again but may well be the moon. She's very distracted today, too. Only thing that's got her attention is a quacking duck puppet

I slept liek a baby....j however was up from 4.15am and hubby took his turn to do the "J watch".....can a full moon really affect people??????

He only ever wakes up during the night before a full moon Jaymum (always the week before). is it full moon tonight? I'm hoping he's going to reconnect with planet earth sometime soon as I don't think my marriage will survive much more like the last few days.

DS slept like a log last night (famous last....). Jimjams, did you find that the melatonin helped? You might have to get some capsules or liquid as the stuff we got on the NHS was the MOST waterproof pills I've ever seen!

Yes this week dd2 has woken a couple of times at around 3am ready for the day - and dh has been extra stressed - the full moon seems to affect both of them! Hope tonight is better Jimjams.

I am not hopeful for tonight. He is loony (although to my surprise did well in school after a dreadful day yesterday).

Jimjams, Oh good luck for tonight. DD gets in exactly the same 'loony' mode. Her pupils are huge and 'wild' is the only word for her when she's in that mood.

wild indeed- he is absolutely uncontollable this afternoon- I don't have the energy for it. dh is tying to get him to bed now.
