got to say the headteacher is lovely.

He was waiting for me and XDH when we dropped her off yesterday and asked us to come to his office,DD,s teacher also came.

We gave him a letter from her paed written last year confirming her dx of hemiparesis and associated incontinence difficulties, the paed states that shes going to need a lot of help and support and that her parents are doing wonderfully with her

Also told him the CAMHS psych is writing to him to tell him she has a severe toileting phobia,he said yes but she has a medical problem as well doesnt she,we said yes and he said it seems to him that noone knows what to do with her and we,ve been left in the lurch, well hallelujah i thought, finally someone agrees, shes still on movicol for chronic constipation, her paed discharged her and told us to try to reduce it which we did but she still got constipated again,im going to taker her bak to the GP,s and ask for a referral to a bowel clinic.

Headteacher said they will not do anything without consulting us first and they wont try and toilet train her without our blessing cos the last thing he wants is for her to be unhappy and not wanting to come into school.

feel mighty relieved now.
id started to lose faith in the education system after what happened with DS and the way nursery treated us and DD but its restoring!!!!

Thanks for reading sorry its so long, im so chuffed can you tell

well done to you and the school. i always think it works so much better if everyone smiles and discusses rather than raises their hackles - this looks like it will be a really good year for dd! fabulous!

That's lovely jenk. It's taken long enough but at last someone with clout is listening to you. Hope it continues.
