My son has CP etc etc, and his speech is very difficult to understand. Over the past few months he has been progressing tremendously and has started approaching people in shops and asking their name. When they ask him his name (Christopher) he responds with 'Beduhduh' which of course I then have to interpret!
I have been longing for the day when he can make himself understood, and today he said Bistopher!!!
I am soooo pleased!
Now I don't have to stand behind him and speak for him. Never thought I would hear him say his own name clearly!
