sorry hijack

riven - is yr dd getting a g tube for 1st time? Did she feed orally? My dd is 3 and we've been told she needs g tube due to aspiration risk and issues with heart rate. She loves eating though so a bit sad for her. But hey ho - whatevers for the best and all that

Oh her head is dinky too. 43 I think but reckon loads of that is hair She isn't classed as microcephalic due to it being more or less in proportion with her tiny body

Hiya fio

x posted riven

cheers for reply. Our videoswallowthingy has been cancelled as salt said its unneccssary. Aspiration risk obvious from observation and reacurrent chest infections.

That's quite shocking though that yr tests showed all is fine on reflux / aspiration front

Aye guess its not all or nothing thing re g tube and eating. Just takes the pressure off a bit. Best of luck with meeting surgeon. Hope you get it done soon
