SN children

I would dearly love to be able to go out without providing the ****ing entertainment once in a while.

DH nearly lost his swim-shorts running down the beach after ds too - he was trying to run as fast as his furry, pasty, little legs would carry him, whilst holding buckets and trying to hold his shorts up and grab ds at the same time - now that was funny! I could almost see why ds does it!

oh no! have you got food poisoning.

This was why we seriously considered buying a bongo and putting a little cooker in it, so we could go out then cook up a pizza and eat lunch in the van. Couldn;t afford it unfortunately, but I feel your pain!

We used to take ds1 to Rye an Camber as a baby. Rye would be a but busy these days!

Does anyone else get that feeling, when things start to go a bit pear shaped, that part of you just wants to give up and go home but a small part of you wants to hang in there and see if you can redeem yourselves? Unfortunately it hardly ever works. I had a lady come up to us in a cafe once and I thought she was about to have a go about my kids eating their chips with their fingers or one of them throwing something when i wasn't looking. I was all set to give her my evil glare when she said 'I just wanted to say what lovely children you have'. I swear it still brings a tear to my eye now - that's what I remember when it all goes crazy!

Having said that my kids are currently fighting half naked in a big pile of sofa cushions - so I don't think we will be straying too far today.

I love the "If you stare long enough, I'll start doing tricks!"

I could use one of those shirts to flash at my nosey pathetic neighbours. I try and ignore them most of the time, but sometimes I just feel like ramming a pole up their bum and telling them to fark off.

At least in big cities, you'll probably see starers once and that's it. I don't mind them as much as I know I'll never have to see their nasty little faces again. When people do it time and time again though, it annoys the hell out of me.

Someone shouted at my DD for not eating her chips with a fork once. I told her to mind her own bloody business. She can eat however she wants as long as she eats, FGS!

FioFio, do you have any rice? That usually helps clear up an upset tummy.

Blimey - I was thinking about getting a couple when the kids are older but it sounds like it's all too easy to get over-run! Good luck Fio I think you could be extending your brood!
