My 15 year old son has a rare neurological condition, delayed development and epilepsy. He has no speech apart from shouting very loudly to vent his approval/disapproval! He is quite noise sensitive to everyday things such as - telephone ringing, someone knocking at the door - all of us talking (!!) - opening the back door etc. It can all become quite waring and I wondered if anyone else has or has had such a problem and found a way of dealing with it? We do interact and say hello so he knows someone has come into the room etc but it just gets so fustrating when you cant even hold a conversation between ourselves without him shouting (look at me - I want attention too!!). Any suggestions welcome! Thanks
