Are you looking for mainstream or special schools? And does DC have an EHCP?

DC has an EHCP, but needs are not being met. We are open to mainstream or special school just need the right environment. DC loves friends and socialising

At 6, I think you might struggle for a suitable SS right now if only looking at those 4 LAs. Although I think it depends on what you mean when you say needs aren’t being met.

If DC is a DS, from Y4 you could look at More House. Although it will depend on how DC’s ADHD presents and some parents wouldn’t class it as that nurturing. From Y3, you could look at Knowl Hill. Although, again, it will depend on how DC’s ADHD presents. From Y4 there is Woodstock House - although parents either love it or hate it and DC may find the social side of things difficult there depending on their profile. I mention these because even though they won’t right work now, it could take you that long to move through the process of securing a special school.

Any chance DC has ASD? I ask not because I think all DC with SEN/ADHD have ASD but because that may open up some other options.

Not a special school but you could look at Kingswood House from Y3, but, like above, it depends on DC’s profile really.

Depends on whether you want to send your child to mainstream school or not. Whatever the case is, do prefer a school at which any of your friend or relative has experience so they could suggest in detail.
