Hi all

I just want to start by saying i appreciate 15 months is very early however this is my first child ( autism runs in the family) and there are things my mum and I have spotted that I just dont know is this normal at this stage or not....

cCommunication
-my son does babble ( not the biggest talker in the world but definately babbles) says mama dada gaga out tree baba but not very consistently

  • he is very social only makes strange for half a second then goes in to performance mode
  • will point at things and look at things I point to and if I say " where's the dogs or daddy" will look for them
  • will play with toys but his default is to throw toys
-if engrossed in a toy he will not look up to his name but if not distracted he will look up to his name. also looks at me if he does something naughty -plays peek a boo and chase -will point and clap ...wave is inconsistent and sometimes I think more of a flap
  • doesn't really mimic will pretend cough or yawn and will clap if you do or if you play with a toy or bang the table he will do it

my main concerns

  • he wont answer if he is engrossed in things
  • doesn't mimic
  • speech not as developed as I would have thought and has been slow compared to his physical
  • only repetitive play is throwing balls over and over and would prefer to walk up and down a curb than walk somewhere
-walking on tip toes the odd time and leaning upside down from time to time

he is an alergy baby and always wakes up middle of night once but a few people have put notions in my head and now im worried

in your opinion how does this sound please
