We have just come home from DS parent/teacher evening

DS came with us into the meeting which I was a bit unsure of

His teacher had nothing but praise for DS

She said that he has worked so well with his IEP

{main concern was delay in answering questions and long silences while he is formating the language}

He had said to us that he had been really trying to work on it

A target was to try to ask or answer 1 question in each lesson and he is meeting it}

She said she was so proud of how hard he works at it.

She said that his maths was good too.

He has been on the times table test 1 since september and last week he moved up to next level 2 and then today he nearly passed that level 2, but not quite.

Anyway enough of my boasting We are just bursting with pride on how hard DS has been working

You guys are so kind

There is nowhere or noone else I can boast about how proud we are of DS

At school you cant say to other parents how pleased we are or how pleased the teacher is with DS

They would just try to say "Well my DD/DS is reading war and peace!!!! etc."

Also none of them understand Dyspraxia and the language processing delay thingy {still cant remember what it is called}
