I’m looking for some advice and firsthand experiences, please.
We’re planning to move to Milton Keynes / Buckinghamshire, and I have a 10‑year‑old son with severe autism. He already has an EHCP, and his needs are significant and he requires a specialist setting with high levels of support.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or experiences with special schools in Milton Keynes or Buckinghamshire, particularly those that are well‑regarded for supporting children with autism (communication needs, regulation, sensory support, etc.).
If you’re happy to share such as schools you’d recommend (or avoid),
what the SEN provision and support are like, experiences with the local authority and school placements.
We’re trying to make the best possible decision for him, so any insight would be hugely appreciated.
