Ds aged 7 is asd. Attends special school and has lots of sensory difficulties and significant speech issues. We apparently sit in a grey area for support locally and significant needs not met by autism team but met by another team but requires LD diagnosis. The process here is years waiting and we've already been going around in circles, we have felt for sometime ds my also have LD and so if so is there a good provider privately that can diagnose LD? Anyone done this after receiving asd diagnosis in child? He had nhs asd diagnosis over 3 years ago. Thanks. We're in Staffordshire if helps.
