Mothercare 2 seasons hood and the Ormesa Bug

Hello,

I was advised at our appointment with wheelchair services when we got our Ormesa Bug, if we didn't want to pay the £250 for the rain cover, that the mothercare 2 seasons hood is a good alternative.

I've managed to get a hood, but I couldn't find any mGo adapters. I have seen on other makes/models of disability pushchairs that people have used reusable hook and loop cable ties. I have gotten some of these but I'm struggling with how/where to attach the hood so it fits and doesn't interfere with the recline.

Does anyone else have the Bug and the mothercare hood secured without the adapters that could show me how you have attached it please?

Thank you!

We had an ormesa bug when DS1 was younger, but it was the older version has the proper hood. The only time I have seen cable ties used for the Bug is in families who don’t use the recline function. I don't know if that is because it doesn't work reclining with cable ties or is a coincidence. I have posted a photograph of whereabouts on the frame/hood they use, but I have had to crop the photograph quite a lot because it isn’t mine/my DC.

Thank you, that is helpful. I'll try that position. I was trying higher up and it meant the side pads (not sure what they're called!) Were crashing into the hood frame when I tried to recline.

In general use he is sat more upright, but we were advised to have the seat reclined for putting him in it and also hes only 18month so still occasionally falls asleep in it if we are out for a good while, which we will then recline him
