Thoughts from me.

What is op (my DS2 has had several leg ops for talipes)

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/06/2008 18:31

Fletch - he's having leg lengthening; involving pins and an external fixator.

edam · 05/06/2008 18:33

Hope it goes well (or has gone well?), Blu.

serenity · 05/06/2008 18:34

Good Luck and fingers crossed that Boyblu gets through it with the minimum amount of discomfort and the maximum benefit.

Hope it all went well

I met a 6 year old who had pins and external fixator - he described it as "the ultimate body pearcing"

Blu · 06/06/2008 22:30

oh, thank you all...

SixSpot..I have sent you a few texts but think I might have sent them to some random person

I have updated my 'Blu-g' very scrappily as can barely string a sentence together...but all went well, DS is pleased with his frame..we weathered a hard patch where they were getting the pain management right, and DS is now keen to get out and about in his wheelchair and wondering whether he is alowed to put stickers on his walking frame.

i can't believe they are going to get him walking (mometairily) on a leg in which the bone has been cut clear through by Sunday - but apparantly they are.

I am home, DS and DP are in hospital.

Will tell all properly soon.

And than you my MN friends - felt a lot less lonley lasy night knowing everyone was thinking of me.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 06/06/2008 22:34

Head all over the place Blu?

Glad he's come smiling through so far.

Been thinking of you all.
