LSP follow up meeting at school

Hello, i’m just wondering what to expect from the learning support plan meeting that has been scheduled regaridng my sons EHCP at school. Has anyone had one and is it an opportunity for questions regarding what’s working/whats not? Or something entirely different. TIA!

LSPs and EHCPs are different things. An LSP is a school level support plan, whereas the EHCP is a legal document written by the LA. A review of the LSP will look at, as you say, what is working/what isn’t, progress, what needs to happen next, updating the LSP if necessary. But it isn’t an annual review of the EHCP. An annual review of the EHCP is a formal process that can lead to amendments to the EHCP.
