A positive one for a change ! Is the editor on holiday?

I liked the way she was honest about her anti disability fears but still didn't go for amnio or consider termination. Often it is the other way round - dishonesty about real feelings and desperation to have as many 're assuring' tests as possible.

Thanks for posting that link, it's a very honest account of one person's journey with Down syndrome. Out of interest, I have a friend who knew her dd was Down's from the 20wk scan and who used the remaining pregnancy to get services into place ready for the birth and yet another friend who didn't know her ds was Down's until the day after he was born - so the scans don't always reveal everything anyway!
