Non stimulant adhd meds after medikinet

Ds 13 has coped ok with short acting medikinet for the last year (as didn’t bother with second dose) so didn’t affect his sleep but he still complains about awful shakes and anxiety while on it although it helps him stay on track at school (until it wears off)
He now refuses to take it and so back to getting into trouble.
Next step is to try the elavanse although he really doesn’t get on with long acting stimulants.
Then next one is non stimulants. Anyone had luck with reducing anxiety but still able to help with impulsivity behaviour??

My daughter takes intuniv at night and Elvanse in the morning. They work well together. The non stimulant still calms her down. Mediknet and other similar really did not suit her
