Just had a call from the parent partnership lady, asking me would i be attending a "support" group today that i received an invite for last week. i said unfortunately no, i couldnt make it. i asked had the evening support groups ended and she said no we just thought this might be better for yourselfbecause we know dave works evenings. so i said well he doesnt work evenings anymore so i can come to those again. she said oh right ok then, erm ill make sure you get an invite to the next one at the end of june. then she asked me how i was very nicely, i nearly fainted, she,s usually extremely sarcastic and negative towards me,ie when we won the independent school place for mike she said are you SURE this is the right thing you are doingand when mikes anxiety decreased since being at the school "well perhaps he never was ASD after all, thats something to look at" so i said well no i disagree, he,s had so many asessments saying he IS. whats she being nice for i wonder, and why am i getting my own personal support group when all my friends go to the evening one? hmmmmm.
