yesterday We went to a local homeless organisation(emanuas) all the people working there have been homeless. they sell second hand furniture and stuff.
as we were leaving. dh went to the cafe for a cup of tea(men!) and I started loading dd into the van. ds and his gf were there and ds was helping. a man stopped and asked if i needed help. well i picked myself up of the floor and said I was ok as ds was helping. he stood by and when I had winched dd in he folded the ramp up and shut the doors.
what a sweetie.

Its nice when people offer to help, and sadly, always surprising.
Once a man offered to help me get DD3 and her major buggy onto a train. I was so shocked I shut his finger in the buggy I really shouldn't be allowed out in public.
