Hi there my first time posting ao be kind. I'm mum to a 20 year old autistic adhd sensory with learning difficulties son who is very isolated. We have navigated the education system with fight and fury and come out the other side slightly disillusioned and battle scarred. My son still has a sense of humour and something to offer society. I started wondering the other day how many other young adults are like this 'stuck, lost, afraid and alone' and their parents battling still everyday ? I certainly am. So anyone got any funny laugh out loud stories relating to these conditions to firstly make us laugh and secondly hey maybe I can put it all in a book for us all to make us feel united, not alone or different, happy? Give us a smile. ? Our kids might just pick it up to read it as well as its been a long time since my son did that! Xx
