Hi

Could anyone who attends the EA annual reviews for the primary-aged child (or a professional involved in the AR’s) be able to share their experiences of what to expect from the reviews?

My DD6 has ASD and learning difficulties, she is in p2 statemented with a full time 1:1 assistant. I have her first AR coming up next week, feeling a bit anxious about it and don’t really know what to expect. Her teacher and assistant say she is happy in school and enjoys the routine but is making less than expected progress and can do no work independently. Any experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.

edit: title misspelled, should say Northern Ireland!

The AR will look at DD’s progress, what is working/what isn’t, if any amendments are required and if so what amendments.
