Hi all - just to let you know that a group of us on another parents forum have created a group on Facebook for parents/carers of SEN children. We are looking for ideas on how to bring the problems our children are facing to the Governments attention. I'm a single parent to a 6 year old boy currently being assessed for Aspergers, ADHD and Semantic Pragmatic Disorder so know only too well the problems most of us are facing with LEAs regarding support and training. If any of you are interested the group is called 'SENsible education' and we would appreciate any suggestions or support. Thanks

Thanks Lois, will go on and join. I wonder if there's some wacky way of doing a video on You Tube that will get attention as a way of publicising the cause. I've noticed that there are more and more news items about clips on You Tube. Just a thought: what about a Women's Institute type calendar thing, where all the SEN mums go naked (but discreetly, like the WI mums did it for their calendar, with plants strategically placed) on You Tube to get publicity?? Nb _ I am not volunteering as I am too shy but this kind of publicity is worth millions.
