This is probably quite an obscure question but I'll have a go anyway.
My DD (2.5) has some mobility issues and gross motor delay. She is outgrowing the baby seat on the Tripp Trapp but still can't climb off and on by herself and has the habit of trying to stand up which would be dangerous if we are not watching closely. She also likes to sit on it and 'help' in the kitchen so I need her somewhat restrained for this. She is not steady enough on her feet for a toddler tower or normal stepstool.
I was looking at alternatives and came accorss the Breezi high chairs for kids with special needs. It looks so similar to the Tripp Trapp but has was restraint options so was wondering if anyone as used the Tripp Trapp for an older toddler but with some sort of seatbelt? Would be great if we didn't have to spend loads of money on a new chair at the moment. I know I could also use a booster on a normal chair but I really like the Tripp Trapp as I think the footrest makes it a lot more ergonomic compared to a normal chair where their feet are dangling.
Also open to other alternatives that would work in our situation. She doesn't need extra support sitting up so a lot of products aimed at disabled kids would be overkill. I think she will eventually be able to use a normal seat but we need something in the interum.
