DS2 is Dyspraxic and has had a lot of problems at school largely down to his poor concentration, very ropey handwriting and PE skills.

He was seen by an Ed Psych recently as part of the school's efforts to get him a laptop. She did the Wechsler tests on him - he is 9.8 and got...

Age equivalent score of 11 years for Word reading, and 16 (yes, 16) for both Spelling and Listening Comprehension.

I have been skipping around the house like a demented schoolgirl. If this doesn't sort out his self-esteem issues then nothing will - he has been so low recently and I just can't wait to tell him. I do apologise for the boasting but I am just SO pleased for him, and I had to tell someone .
