Petty thought of the day: Do the DLA people EVER send a letter that is less than two sides long???

I was just wondering this after receiving a letter this morning telling me that DLA is going up. It's four pages long. And that's just for ds1. Tomorrow I will probably get another one for ds2. Does it really take 8 pages to say that DLA payments are going up?

They even send a letter two sides long just to tell you that they are looking at a DLA claim.

So, if your DLA claim is taking a long time to be processed it's because one half of the staff are competing to see who can waste the most paper, while the other half are busy printing the bloomin' things out.

Hey a wanted t rant too........, I am waiting still 8 n a half weeks later on decision, my DS1 has severe epilepsy due t brain damage.. and called last thurs t check progress, they said decision had bn made & still just t b confirmed, so had t update the woman that Jack has damage in brain as that was confirmed by mri recently, still no letter, one lady sed sometimes can go into yr bank acc before receive a confirmation letter bout a decision???????????????????? Wat????!!! Just annoying, what bloody takes sooo long?

Just to join in on the rant-I am appealing against the decision for ds1,they say not eligible for dla.Sent the appeal form on 12th april,rang tues tocheck they had received it as you only have a month to appeal and she said no!!!!!!She then said it can take a week to ten days to show up on the system!!!What are they doing there?????

Hey i just posted a thread there, i just called them and they sed decision was sent out yesterday, and I asked if she could tell me over phone, but she sed no, but then went on t say ds1 had bn successful, so happy, will help Jack a lot xxx
