Hi,
So, long story short - my child was awarded DLA on 18th June.
Despite me updating bank details before the claim was processed, the DM submitted my child's backpay into the wrong account.
DLA recalled the payment and once it was received back, issued a same day, faster payment to the correct bank.
The DLA reference on the payment is MY NI number though? I know this is not usual because I have another child on DLA and they have their own NI number as reference.
What makes it weirder, is today I called up to update some more details and the gentleman said "so, the amount for £X has now been submitted to your bank and you should receive it in a few days".
I explained I had already received the backpay and he said it had bounced back to them again and they had resubmitted it today.
I'm so confused because I've RECEIVED it and now they're saying they've sent it again!
I'm worried their system is showing my child's backpay hasn't been received as it's been sent under my own NI number?
