Specialist school end of year gift

Hi All,
Just wanted to see what the norm
is with end of year gifts for teachers, if your child is in a specialist setting and will have the same teachers next year?
My son is in reception of a specialist setting so it’s our first end of year, and not sure what to do.

I buy a gift because it’s a thank you for the year just gone.

Thank you @openupmyeagereyes, I was thinking the same, but then started over thinking it.
They do work incredibly hard, and deserve a gift.
