Speak to the school and tell them they need to organise an annual review. EHCPs are supposed to be reviewed annually.

they did. LA didn't amend/ alter/action.

Sorry, I see. You can appeal the content of the EHCP. When was the last AR?

In theory, you can appeal the decision not to amend after annual review.

Good luck. At my school, we have several EHCPs which were written pre-2018 (children were in reception/nursery and now in Year 6). Every annual review, parent and school's suggested amendments are ignored. It's disgraceful.

seems it's totally normal.

Normal, maybe, but not acceptable.

Is your child making good progress? Is the provision in the EHCP meeting their needs? If not, appeal the decision of the next AR. Ours haven't changed in so long because parents are confident that children are getting good provision despite the waste of space EHCPs, so they haven't appealed.
