Council tax reduction for DLA autistic child?

Hi,

My daughter has just been approved for DLA and I was told to look into other discounts in taxes.
Would council taxes qualify?
Has anyone been successful applying for an autistic child?
I see from the government website that one needs to prove one room is dedicated to the disabled person.
How would that work for an "invisible" disability like hers?
Thanks

Being autistic and in receipt of DLA doesn’t necessarily mean you will receive a council tax band reduction. If you need a room for e.g. a therapy room or a safe space bed that could count.

Sorry, but you won't get a CT reduction on that.
