Thought this might be of interest to some. It's a soft ball about 4 inches tall with lots and lots of soft green stretchy spikes. It has a nice chiming noise, and flashing different coloured lights.

In the 99p store? I don't think we have one near us, would be great for my Dd. Do they do mail order?

TotalChaos · 04/04/2008 23:05

I doubt it. I don't mind doing mail order though, and sending one down to you.

Sounds like the kind of thing DD absolutely loves. Do you think it would be safe for her to put in her mouth? Cos she chews everything (including the washing machine and the bin )

Thanks Totalchaos, I'll CAT you my address. Have you got a paypal account, so I can cover your costs?

TotalChaos · 05/04/2008 09:37

Arabica - since it's got batteries in to make the lights flash I couldn't 100% say. I would have thought it would be big enough and have long enough spines for a bit of mouthing but.......

Coco - people on here have sent me videos and stuff free, so look at it as me paying it ?forward/backward whatever.

These sound similar to the ones ds2 has. When yoiu bounce or drop them they make a noise and the lights start flashing. Ds2 loves them. Unfortunately for him, so does dd.

Hi! By the time I got to the shop again, they only had sensory worms left, not balls. Have popped one each in the post to you today anyway, hope that's OK.

by worms I mean longish thin sensory things (soft stretchy spikes and lights), so very similar to the balls, just doesn't chime.

Thank you so much totalchaos! Mine arrived today and is perfect. DD has limited use of her left hand, but this has given her a real incentive. It was so kind of you to send it

Arabica · 19/04/2008 00:26

Mine arrived too and DD loved it. Thanks so much.
