dont think they dont do it, cause they do and most parents here have been at the receiving end. Beat them to punch and figure out their practices before they do it on you.

had a quick look. a very interesting point. I challenge the most obvious bullshit I hear - "well it's OK your DS wasn't referred to SALT till he was 3, as children improve so much between 2 and 3" - yeah well DS didn't, did he? and "your DS has had lots of speech therapy" erm no, he has had 2 NHS assessments (so NO therapy) and 3 private SALT appointments, that's NOT a lot. But I suspect that there is some I miss out on.
