Charlie & Lola at Polka theatre in Wimbledon - autism friendly performance

Just got the latest brochure through the door and thought some of you might be interested in this.

They have a performance on May 30th at 11am "For families with children on the autistic spectrum and children with learning difficulties who may have sensory difficulties. For this performance the sound is turned down and low lights are left on in the auditorium".

Have no idea if is any good or not, but its the first time I have seen anything like this advertised at the Polka and wanted to share info.

OMG Charlie and Lola is one of DS major obsessions, he would love it, do you know if it's going to be on anywhere nearer the north?

I think its a touring production - I expect if you contacted the Polka (see above for e-mail) they could tell you more.

Thanks i did go onto website and they have it running through the summer too and i am in London for 2 weeks in July but i doubt they will have anymore of the special performances and i doubt DS will sit through all of the normal version. I will check it out though.
