Nappies for tall 5 year old

My 5 year old non verbal asd daughter is on the cusp of growing out of the largest size supermarket nappies and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for stores online to use?
Thanks

If you haven’t already you could look at Tesco’s junior nappies. There’s also Tena (come in a XXS or XS) or Attends (XS) slips.

If pants would work rather than nappies/slips, look at Libero as they go up to size 10.

They might be too big now, but Boots own brand pants are good and aren’t too much bigger than the larger older children’s nappies/slips/pants.

Has DD had a referral to the continence service?

Dotdotdotdot19 · 22/04/2024 17:20

No she hasn't been referred yet as the GP thinks we just need to toilet train her apparently. What would the continence service do?

I'll have a look at those options you said, thank you!

The continence service could help with supplying nappies/slips/pads/pants (whatever is suitable). They could also support with toilet training if that is appropriate and feed into DD’s EHCP &/or intimate care plan at school. In some areas you can self refer, if you can’t, speak to the school nursing service.

OK thank you! I'll get on that.
