Wondered if anyone had been through similar? Had ongoing audiology tests. Won’t tolerate the pressure test. But ent believe glue ear… she had a good hearing test last autumn but previously all were between 40-50db hearing loss.
have requested ent involvement again as she’s snoring. She’s almost always got an open mouth. She had tongue tie snipped young and they noted a high palate too. She’s snoring but not always mouth snoring? Sometimes it’s nasal breathing too! Told GP as periods of sleep apnea too.
we have ent appt next month. Private sadly as nhs thought it was acceptable not to see us til august after signing us off without examination last autumn but on the basis of one good hearing test.
she also has thick wax too!
No words (in private speech) but babbles.
social skills are slowly developing - have requested paed too as worried autism perhaps too. Some repetitive behaviours. Rocks when excited!
so… does the snoring sound like we may need something like adenoids out or can snoring be normal??
thank you!
very worried!
