Hi we're looking for childcare help for few hrs a week for our son who is autistic and has PDA. He would need someone who specialises in autistic children to be able to bond and trust this person. Does anyone have any advice or can recommend any agencies that offer this type of thing?? I'm guessing it would be a nanny rather than carer? I really don't know where to start. We're in Dartmouth south devon. Thanks x

For a SEN nanny, you could try Snap Care and sennies.

If you can’t find a nanny try looking for a PA. For PAs, other than agencies, some people have successfully by asking local schools if any TAs want extra hours or by asking universities particularly if they have healthcare or teaching students.
