when I post on a thread that isn't in my comfort zone I always feel a bit like I need to explain about dd not having x,y,z but cp.
do you think there is a way of over comming this.
we could
a) have a thread where we all list areselves and the dx age and stuff(bit like birthday thread)
b) all have profiles with it on.

am I mad??

I know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder whether I need to keep writing 'DS2(5) ASD' - but then don't want to assume people will remember either!

Trouble is, we'd have to keep referring to the thread or profiles all the time.

Yes - I find it hard too. Most other forums that I've posted on have a little thing at the bottom which permanently stores a tagline saying who you are...maybe it's more expensive for the site owners though.

I agree - much as the old 'tickers' are often joked about here it would be useful in this case. I often find myself posting here and in other areas and always end up explaining about dd's CP. I can barely remember the situations of most people here either, sorry! so that kind of thread would be useful. Do you think it could be made a sticky in this category to keep it bumped up.

I think its a really good idea. It would also help in terms of support, for example those of us with DCs with similar conditions similar ages ect.

Good idea, I think the Signature type thing at the bottom of your posts as Givemesleep describes would work really well.
