Any free resources on ‘OT’ exercises to do with kids?

We had a private OT assessment and it diagnosed dyspraxia and sensory processing disorder. No surprises there. The prescription that came with the diagnosis was for multiple sessions of OT at their clinic. It’s way way more than we can afford. To get even an OT assessment on the NHS via GP referral is going to be a very long wait of at least over a year.
What are we meant to do in the meantime to support frequently dysregulated DC if we can’t pay? Are there any free resources online that anyone has found, that I could try to use to adapt for DC in the meantime?

This website and this booklet can be helpful. The Out of Sync Child book can be useful, too.

Does DC have an EHCP? If so, OT can be included in there without the need to sit on the normal waiting list. Request an early review. If DC doesn’t already have an EHCP request an EHCNA.

Thank you so much Thomas, I really appreciate the links and book recommendation. We’re only at the stage of preparing the paperwork to ask for the ECHNA, not got an EHCP yet. That’s a massive weight off my mind to know about the OT waiting lists.
