Hello I just wanted to canvas how well folks with adhd/asd kids have got in with a Yoto instead of reading to them in bed together?
I find reading aloud difficult as I get SO distracted by my daughter jumping around the bed as she settles her body to sleep (both the reading/jumping seem to help her settle tho). Sometimes when I’m tired I literally can’t get words of sense out.

We’re all neurodivergent in different ways (mostly asd/add)

I can afford a mini but am cautious in case - it’s over stimulating (more, more etc) or she gets totally dependent on it.

any thoughts/experiences?

from a personal standpoint it sounds much more relaxing!

It might be worth first trying using your phone and a speaker if you have one and seeing if they have interest in listening to a story rather than being read to, as they are different things? I really wanted to get a Yoto or Tonie for my 3.5 year old but im not convinced she will actuallys it and listen to it.....
