Looking for opinions and experiences... has anyone tried treatment for this? I've searched mumsnet and it seemed to be a lot of older posts and actually they were quite positive about how it helped. Has anyone used a practitioner in NW England?

Thanks for the replies. That's great MrsKateColumbo. I've read lots of positive things on parent fb groups but don't know anyone in real life! I find the general medical advice is just accept things as they are which is frustrating so refreshing to hear something outside of the box. What kind of practitioner did you see?

We see Sarah Baker in Twickenham, randomly I keep meeting people who have done it, by chance even another child in DC's class. We do the brushing not the other exercises- I dont know id that comes later

I found that OT did nothing which was annoying having paid for it for 2 years

There's a documentary on amazin called attention now (or attention please) that is useful.

ds used to cry when he got in the swimming pool and now he loves it/swims under water etc
