hi i was just wondering if anyone’s recently applied for the first time and how long it took. thanks

Hello I applied in March and it took 6 weeks to see if we had been accepted also a friend of mine did it the same time and hers took 7 weeks hope this helps x

I applied in August and it got accepted in September.

@candywoo so was it less than 6 weeks? once you was accepted how long until you received it? @kungfupidge thank you! how long did it take to receive it once accepted.
did either of you get an email or something? or did you have to call.

@unicornwonders I applied on 16/08 and got an email of he was awarded on the 08/09 so took just over 3 weeks. Was about a week from then that the gift cards came in the post. My son was awarded some money for a club and a day trip which took about 3 days to go into the bank from the 8th sep, I received an email requesting bank details from me on the 8th sep aswell.

I didn't receive a phone call but I sent quite a lot of professional evidence and EHCP along with the application.

i have an assessment booked for monday how long after that until we should hear if she’s awarded?

I think they could probably tell you whilst on the phone.
