Larger ear defenders for kids

Hi all,
My son (6) wears ear defenders in school when the noise gets a bit much for him, but his teacher has told me that he's refusing to wear them since the start of the academic year, as they feel too tight. No issues previously and he's usually fairly happy to wear a hat, sunglasses, other stuff on his head, etc so I think it must be the size.

Can anyone recommend ear defenders that would fit a child with a big head? Looking online the kids ones I can find all seem to be the same sort of size, but I think adult ones might be too big.

Thanks!

I’d go for adult-sized ones if he has a largish head, as kids heads are almost adult-sized at 7 or 8 years old. Both my son and I find that ear defenders feel a bit tight and uncomfortable for anything except short periods of time. We prefer our Loop earplugs, but your boy may be on the young side for them.

We just bought the ear defenders from a builders merchant or similar.

My little boy is 8 and very big for his age. He has Zohan ear defenders at the moment which are bigger than his snug ones.
