Oh good, that's a start, much less of a wait than you thought.

Am also meeting SALT friend this Thursday for assessment, so might put the chargeable private SALT on hold for a while, depending on how things develop.

Was really amazed to get a place this quickly. I'm not sure how good the session it's going to be, but it's a start.

He's on all the medication he could possibly be on though, so it will be interesting to see whether they'll take him off some and how things go then.

Wow, that's great - our "group" session runs once a month, and if you can't go (even for a very good reason like an appointment!) you miss out for that month..
