Swiss cottage school vs Manor school Brent London

Has anyone got experience with these special schools who can tell me what difference is. How does one choose a special school that is suitable for your child's sen when you're new to the diagnosis of Asd

Hello - I suspect that whatever the child's needs, you can only tell by visiting and speaking to teachers. Swiss Cottage is one I considered but was told you don't get in easily without being in that Local Authority area. I moved to Brent in order for my DD to attend Manor, as I really liked it. However, the waiting list at that point was very long, and she did not attend. She has DS and ended up attending the Village School, where she fitted very well - it seemed more like Swiss Cottage, with PMLD children as well as mild to moderate LD.
