stood up in his cot! He is 15 months and has only been commando crawling for the last month, but he has just stood up in his cot (crying I might add Smile) and he was in a grobag!

All of you SN mums will know how much this means. So proud I could burst! Grin.

So pleased for you. That is a major milestone Thecattlearemerloting Grin

pixiefish · 12/12/2004 21:31

Grin chuffed to meatballs for you

Thecattlearemerloting · 12/12/2004 21:34

Thanks :). He's showed absolutely no interest in pulling up so far, so we were absolutely thrilled. We also cheer every time he does anything remotely n@ughty as he is so passive.
So different to with ds1, but its all about being in Holland rather than Italy isn't it? Wink

Thecattlearemerloting... The baby awakes!

It's a big moment for any child and having to wait for it as you evidently have just makes it the more special.

It should be a lesson to all of us, never to underestimate any milestone our babies and children achieve. It's a fabulous accomplishment at whatever age they achieve them.

Although of course we hope he's settled now! xx

DingleAlltheWay · 14/12/2004 11:03

JUst seen yesterdays post!! It doesn't take long to work out how to make mummy grin from ear to ear- he'll be keeping you up all night now . Standing up in his little grobag, clinging to the side of his cot, and giving you that ..."aren't I adorable look".
he he he ...

Thecattlearemerloting · 14/12/2004 21:04

Yes, he's not quite so passive at 3 o'clock in the morning!

Chuffed to pieces though, he's also started to modify his commando crawl into a conventional style - feels like I've been waiting for a bus for a very long time and two have just arrived together!
