Had to take nt ds1 11 tomorrow to play his trombone in a local supermarket.Ds2 is frightened of his trombone just screams and screams until ds1 puts it away.Because of this I don't normally get to hear him play but today i decided to stay and listen.Ds2 cried put his hands over his ears and looked scared rigid .But he kept peeking out from under his hood to look at his big brother.I could see that he really wanted to join in and listen but couldn't cope with all the noise.
I was so proud of my little man as he was obviously trying so hard to overcome his dislike of loud noises. He looked so cute this little face peeking out and waving to his brother inbetween carols.
Really proud of both my boys today.

I couldn't help smiling at the thought of a little pair of eyes peeking to watch ds1. :) They sound like lovely boys. Well done to them both.

Ow meea, how wonderful. You deserve to feel proud.
You must be so glad that you decided to stay.

I have ds's 1st xmas assembly on Thursday and like a coward I have asked my mum to look after dd. I am sure that dd would absolutely adore watching the children and have a great time joining in with the songs,,but I don't want to take the chance in missing ds on his day. Does that make sense or am I just being stupid?Grin
Anyway, a lovely thought as I go up to sleep.
Well done to both your beautiful boys!Grin

that is so good meea... well done to little meea for his trying to overcome that dislike - something not a lot of people are prepared to do. Glad you had a great family moment.
