My nephew is 19 months old and lives near Cork. He has lots of the early years indicators for Autism. My brother is taking him to see his gp tomorow to discuss the difficulties that they are facing.
I know about the set up in Britain as I am a preschool teacher with lots of experience of children with ASD. I have absolutely no idea about the system in Southern Ireland.
Has anyone got experience of the services/support available in this area?
I looked at the National Autistic Society site but they only seem to cover Northern Ireland.
