Yes, you'll probably regret it...but, I have to admit to feeling a sense of amusement (and strangely pride) when GS does something that he's not supposed to and have previously encouraged him to draw on the dining room floor - just to see his little face when he's done it. He puts his hand over his mouth, looks at me in mock shock and says aaawwww.....so cute.
