DS 10 can’t ride bike

DS just cannot stand the feel of the bike seat and cannot ride a bike. Have spent £££ on lightweight bikes and tuition although pre pandemic. He’s showing dyspraxic traits and ADHD and I’m feeling an absolute failure that I haven’t addressed the bike thing. He’s y6 and they’re doing bikeability in a few weeks so I’m wanting a magic answer or an amazing teacher in NWLondon or Herts. Or anywhere.

I am biased here - love cycling and think it's the best thing ever. But. He doesn't have to learn. Lots and lots of happy, competent adults can't - or never do even if they can. Bikeability isn't obligatory either. Sometimes it can be okay just not to do something.

Hopefully someone will come through with more practical advice!
