Can anyone recommend a type of ear protection for swimmers?
DS is 7, he has issues with aspirating water (failed grommets, just waiting for him "to grow out of it")- he had a series of really awful ear infections which resulted in burst eardrums which have only just healed. I have to keep his ears as dry as possible.
He has ADHD (and loves swimming as it really regulates him) and sensory issues. We were using ear putty but he is struggling with it because he doesn't like the feel of it in his ears. It's distracting him so he isn't swimming properly.
I've ordered an ear bandit but it says to use earplugs with it- does anyone have any experience with it or any other recommendations?
